Position Summary : The Litigation Paralegal will provide essential support to attorneys throughout the entire litigation process, from case inception through trial and post-trial. This role involves managing case files, overseeing document production, and assisting with depositions, hearings, and legal research, ensuring accuracy and thorough preparation for all stages of litigation. Key Responsibilities : Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case filing, discovery, trial, and post-trial. Maintain organized case files, oversee document production, and track discovery. Prepare for depositions and hearings by creating witness outlines and organizing exhibits. Draft, review, and edit legal documents with high attention to detail. Conduct legal research and verify citations for accuracy in briefs. Collaborate with litigation support for eDiscovery and document review. Meet annual billable hour targets while delivering exceptional client service. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree required. Eligible to work as a paralegal per Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code section 6450. At least 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal with strong knowledge of California law. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Skilled in eDiscovery tools, such as iPro, and legal research platforms like Westlaw or Lexis. Strong understanding of California legal procedures, rules, and eDiscovery. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team. Excellent communication skills with a commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
