About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Charlestown, MA. This full-time position offers a competitive salary starting from $70,000 per year. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team by conducting research, preparing legal documents, and assisting with case management. The Paralegal will be responsible for ensuring that all legal documents are accurate and filed in a timely manner, as well as maintaining organized case files and documentation. This position requires a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys and clients, providing essential support throughout the legal process. This role is in-person, and candidates must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Assist attorneys in case preparation and management.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters.
  • File documents with the court and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
  • Attend court hearings and take notes as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal setting.
  • Completion of a paralegal certification program is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal research and document preparation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
