About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support our legal team in various aspects of law including corporate law, litigation, and estate planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, document preparation, and trial support, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents and pleadings for various types of cases including corporate, real estate, and employment law.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are filed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Prepare for trials and hearings by gathering evidence, preparing exhibits, and coordinating with witnesses.
• Assist in corporate transactions, including drafting contracts and agreements.
• Support business litigation processes by compiling evidence and preparing case summaries.
• Handle real estate transactions and assist in drafting associated documentation.
• Assist in corporate bankruptcy proceedings and labor law matters.

Requirements

• Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program.
• Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, litigation processes, and trial preparation.
• Familiarity with legal research platforms and tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
