About the position

The Paralegal position at State Farm involves supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment, primarily focusing on insurance defense. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with conducting client discovery meetings.
• Draft written discovery objections and responses.
• Prepare reports and medical summaries/chronologies.
• Provide trial assistance as needed.

Requirements

• Prior paralegal experience, preferably in an insurance defense firm.
• Experience reviewing medical records and preparing medical chronologies.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced work environment.
• Working knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Strong software/technical skills, including experience with case management systems.
• Experience working in an electronic/digital environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
