About the position

A fast-growing Personal Injury Law Firm is looking for a dynamic Litigation Paralegal to join their exceptional team! The ideal candidate will need to have a strong experience with personal injury cases as a Litigation Paralegal. Any experience with medical malpractice is a plus! Responsibilities

• Deposition preparation
• Managing high-dollar serious personal injury/ wrongful death/ medical malpractice cases
• Handling a variety of files simultaneously
• Client contact and communication with courts and opposing counsel
• Medical records assessment and summarization
• Arbitration/ trial preparation; includes identifying exhibits, use of trial software to prepare exhibits, organization of trial materials
• Discovery / disclosure processes
• Notice of claims, negligence, and other complex litigation matters
• Assisting litigating attorneys in courtroom trials, including jury selection, electronic presentation of exhibits and witness examinations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years plaintiff personal injury law firm experience (any medical malpractice experience a plus!)
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven experience working as a paralegal or in a similar role
• Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with document management systems and legal case management software
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and law firm applications such as Casepeer and Westlaw
