About the position

Moertl, Wilkins & Campbell, S.C. is seeking a dynamic and experienced paralegal to join our team. The paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys by performing a variety of administrative office tasks and assisting with legal work, including the preparation of legal documents and client correspondence. In this position, the paralegal will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks that are essential to the smooth operation of the firm. These tasks include answering phones, greeting guests, monitoring mail, managing office supplies, making photocopies, and scheduling appointments. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to manage documents effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount, as the paralegal will be handling confidential information and must exercise discretion at all times. Proficiency in computer skills is required, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), and the ability to adapt to other software programs is essential. The paralegal will also need superb time management skills and the ability to work under pressure, especially when faced with time-sensitive deadlines. Prioritizing multiple tasks or projects is a key aspect of this role, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a daily basis is crucial. The candidate should be open to receiving constructive feedback, flexible in learning new things, and willing to implement changes that improve productivity and enhance the quality of work produced. Exposure to specific areas of law, such as Estate Planning, Probate Administration, Trust Administration, Tax, Guardianships, and Elder Law, is preferred but not mandatory.
