The Information Technology (IT) Contract Analyst plays a crucial role in managing the contractual agreements related to the procurement of technology-related goods and services, particularly in the telecommunications sector. This position requires a deep understanding of commercial and legal terms associated with IT and telecommunication contracts. The IT Contract Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the coordination, review, revisions, negotiations, and drafting of these contracts, which may encompass hardware, software, and consulting services. In addition to drafting and reviewing contracts, the IT Contract Analyst will maintain a comprehensive database that tracks the status of IT contracts, ensuring that all records are accurate and thorough. This role also involves facilitating effective communication between various departments and conducting training sessions for personnel regarding company policies, procedures, and contract templates. The IT Contract Analyst will undertake administrative and analytical duties as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the contracting process. The position requires a proactive approach to liaising with IT Legal to streamline the contracting process, particularly focusing on telecommunications. The IT Contract Analyst will coordinate interactions between business stakeholders and vendor services, ensuring that all contractual agreements comply with company policies and standards. This includes drafting and reviewing Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work (SOW) for various telecommunications projects, as well as assisting in the negotiation of business terms and the administration of existing agreements.
