About the position

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is seeking a Paralegal for its Litigation Practice group. This role involves providing project assistance and case management to attorneys and trial teams, with a focus on document management, discovery requests, and trial preparation. The position offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, allowing for both remote and in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Document and database maintenance, including managing electronic data document collections.
• Review and preparation of documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Assisting with discovery requests and productions, including Bates labeling documents.
• Drafting, proofing, editing, and filing court filings using eFile systems.
• Preparation and service of subpoenas.
• Cite-checking and Bluebooking briefs and memorandums.
• Creating tables of authority and contents for court filings.
• Tracking and communicating case-related dates and information.
• Ensuring all events/deadlines are properly calendared.
• Assisting with witness preparation and trial binders.
• Assembling and tracking deposition, hearing, and trial exhibits.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on error-free work.
• Knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Kofax PDF, and iManage.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal rules of procedure.
• Understanding of litigation support systems such as Case Notebook and Relativity.
• Legal research skills.
• Proofreading and editing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior paralegal experience in a litigation environment is highly desired.
