The Paralegal position at Modivcare is a vital role within the legal department, responsible for a variety of tasks that support the organization's legal functions. The Paralegal will assist with litigation, pre-litigation claims, subpoenas, and other record requests, as well as manage attorney inquiries and administrative matters, all while upholding a high standard of ethical conduct. In this role, the Paralegal will partner with the Legal Leadership team to identify opportunities for tracking trends in cases, subpoenas, and attorney response letters. They will provide litigation support by developing and maintaining files and reports, routing complaints to appropriate parties, and drafting responses to interrogatories and requests for documents. The Paralegal will also design and track subpoena and records requests, providing metrics to inform decision-making and support departmental leadership in developing operational strategies. The position involves managing attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, drafting legal documents, and maintaining a tracking system for attorney inquiries. The Paralegal will also assist with legal department projects aimed at improving efficiencies and creating data-driven decisions. Additionally, they will perform quality control at all stages of eDiscovery workflows, ensuring accuracy and adherence to required production formats.
