About the position

This role is essential in supporting attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of the legal practice. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys.
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and deadlines.
  • Craft and refine legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
  • Handle incoming communications, including calls, emails, and inquiries.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency with legal terminology.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.

Nice-to-haves
