About the position

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal experienced in personal injury (PI) cases to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our attorneys and assist in various legal tasks, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for the legal field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information
• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings
• Manage and organize legal files and documents using document management systems
• Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits and witness lists
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
• Maintain communication with clients to provide updates on case progress
• Assist in the preparation of legal correspondence and draft routine letters
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining office supplies
• Conduct factual investigations and gather evidence to support legal arguments
• Assist in the preparation of discovery requests and responses
• Support attorneys during trials by organizing exhibits, taking notes, and handling logistics

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal
• Proficient in legal research techniques and using online databases
• Strong knowledge of document management systems and legal case management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to draft legal documents, contracts, and correspondence accurately
• Familiarity with litigation procedures and court rules
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficient in project management techniques to handle multiple cases simultaneously
• Data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to file documents with courts or government agencies
