About the position

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team on a temporary basis, supporting attorneys during the pre-trial and trial phases of litigation. This is a 100% remote position running from November through February, ideal for a paralegal with a solid background in litigation support and a keen attention to detail. The Litigation Paralegal will play an essential role in managing case files, assisting with discovery, preparing trial exhibits, and facilitating communication with legal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with pre-trial preparation, including document organization, research, drafting pleadings, and organizing exhibits.
  • Conduct and manage document reviews and ensure timely completion of discovery tasks.
  • Prepare and manage trial binders, exhibit lists, witness lists, and trial-related documents.
  • Coordinate remote trial logistics, including video conference setup, online exhibit sharing, and virtual trial preparation.
  • Communicate regularly with attorneys, clients, and witnesses to facilitate efficient case progression.
  • Summarize depositions, organize case files, and manage case-related databases and electronic document management systems.
  • Provide support with filings, and monitor case-related deadlines, adhering to all relevant jurisdictional rules.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal with substantial pre-trial and trial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and/or state court procedures, rules, and filing requirements.
  • Proficient with legal research tools, e-discovery platforms, and case management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and third parties.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Paralegal certification or degree in Paralegal Studies.
  • Previous experience in high-stakes or complex litigation.
