The full-time Paralegal position at Community Legal Services, Inc. focuses on assisting attorneys with the Anne Arundel County Eviction Prevention program. Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys by preparing and updating court case files
• Answering phone calls and assisting with client intakes by phone and in-person
• Updating legal case tracking system with client case information
• Providing clients with referrals for rental assistance and other services
• Coordinating and attending trainings and community outreach events
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Paralegal experience
• Detail-oriented work ability
• Ability to manage competing tasks
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Spanish language proficiency preferred
• Knowledge of housing subsidies and related regulations is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and manage cases, intakes, and client calls
