About the position

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Paralegal for a temporary contract position that supports a global company. This role offers the potential for permanent hire based on performance and requires a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in labor and employment matters within a law firm or corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and summarize case law, statutes, regulations, and other legal documents.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and legal correspondence.
• Prepare and manage case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and up to date.
• Assist attorneys in the preparation for court proceedings, hearings, and trials.
• Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and track deadlines to ensure all case-related activities are on schedule.
• Coordinate the collection, review, and production of documents in response to discovery requests.
• Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and address inquiries.
• Maintain client confidentiality and build strong, professional relationships with clients.
• Assist in billing and invoice preparation, time entry, and maintaining expense records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Paralegal certification from an accredited program is preferred.
• 3+ years of labor and employment experience.
