Responsibilities

  • Support Attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, pleadings, and pre-trial motions in first and third party insurance defense/bodily injury cases.
  • Draft pleadings, routine motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
  • Familiarize with Court Rules and Procedures.
  • Assist in the discovery process and trial preparation.
  • Communicate effectively and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 1-7 years of paralegal experience, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury environment.
  • Paralegal degree, certificate, and/or paralegal education.
  • Ability to draft pleadings, routine motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
  • Familiarity with Court Rules and Procedures.
  • Experience with the discovery process and trial preparation.
  • Understanding of medical terminology and records.
  • Proficiency in internet information resources and software applications.
