Responsibilities

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Manage case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up to date.
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness lists.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
  • File documents with the court and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Connecticut litigation and personal injury law.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures related to personal injury cases.
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents and managing case files.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
