About the position
The Philadelphia, PA office, located near the King of Prussia mall, is seeking a paralegal with litigation experience. The primary duties of this position include working for a minimum of (4) attorneys, calendaring, document management including but not limited to review, creation, and organization. In addition, compiling information for discovery responses, interrogatories, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation are essential functions of this role. This position is on a hybrid schedule with three (3) days in office and two (2) days work from home. Lewis Brisbois offers legal practice in more than 40 specialties, and a multitude of sub-specialties. Our attorneys have broad knowledge, experience, and sensitivity to our clients' unique needs. Through interaction among our practice groups, Lewis Brisbois provides a wide range of legal services to each client with a continuity of representation across multiple disciplines. Responsibilities
- Work for a minimum of 4 attorneys
- Calendaring
- Document management including review, creation, and organization
- Compile information for discovery responses
- Prepare interrogatories, pleadings, motions, and depositions
- Assist in trial preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate
- At least three (3) years of litigation work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
- Annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours
