Responsibilities

• Analyzing incoming legal documents
• Review and draft routine legal documents
• Assist in case management
• Create and maintain case files
• Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
• Conduct public records searches
• Conduct legal research
• Coordinating calendars
• Interface with clients, judges, and opposing counsel
• Answer incoming calls
• Prepare attorneys and conference room for meetings, mediations, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
• Experience as a legal secretary, assistant, or paralegal
• Strong writing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Organizational skills
• Proofreading skills
• Understanding of confidentiality and strong ethics
