The role is primarily focused on supporting multiple attorneys, particularly in the realm of insurance defense. Additionally, the position requires the individual to track and bill their time accurately, which is a critical aspect of the role. The responsibilities of the paralegal include drafting various legal documents such as memoranda, pleadings, discovery demands, subpoenas, and correspondence. The paralegal will also be responsible for organizing and processing incoming records and invoices, following up on outstanding records through various communication methods, and preparing answers and correspondence. Managing a large caseload while working with multiple attorneys is essential, as is reviewing documents for relevance and privilege in preparation for disclosure.
