Responsibilities

  • Assist Attorneys with conducting client discovery meetings
  • Draft written discovery objections and responses
  • Prepare reports and medical summaries/chronologies
  • Provide trial assistance
  • Manage workload in a fast-paced electronic environment
  • Adapt to changing work arrangements as needed

Requirements

  • Prior Paralegal experience, preferably in an insurance defense firm
  • Experience reviewing medical records and preparing medical chronologies
  • Trial preparation experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Working knowledge/experience utilizing the Texas Rules of Civil Procedures
  • Strong software/technical skills including experience working in a case management system
  • Experience working in an electronic/digital environment
  • Eligibility to lawfully work in the U.S.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual skills are preferred but not required
