About the position

The Carter Mario Law Firm has been a trusted name in personal injury law for over 30 years, providing compassionate and client-focused legal assistance to victims throughout Connecticut. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced personal injury paralegal to join our North Haven pre-litigation team. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our case files and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service during the pre-litigation phase of their cases. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, attorneys, and medical providers. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating files through all pre-litigation phases, which includes frequent interaction with clients both in person and via phone. Timely communication is essential, as you will need to follow up and follow through with clients, attorneys, and medical providers to ensure that all case activities are documented accurately. Additionally, you will complete file opening and closing tasks, prepare and send correspondence, and assist with the timely processing of daily case scans and mail.
