About the position

Lether Law Group is a boutique litigation law firm located on Lake Union, seeking a full-time paralegal to join our dynamic team. This position is designed for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to assist approximately three attorneys with various legal tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a paralegal certificate, a bachelor's degree, and at least two years of litigation experience, although we are open to candidates who can demonstrate relevant skills and experience. The primary responsibilities of the paralegal will include preparing correspondence and pleadings, filing documents in various state, federal, and appellate courts, and proofreading and editing legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Additionally, the paralegal will manage case deadlines and maintain calendars for multiple files, schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, and motion hearings, and assist with trial preparation. Transcribing dictation and performing administrative tasks as necessary will also be part of the role. To succeed in this position, the candidate must be dependable and punctual, possess a basic knowledge of Washington State and Federal Court rules, and have the ability to read, write, and proofread for grammatical, typographical, or spelling errors. Strong organizational skills are essential, as the paralegal will need to prioritize numerous tasks and perform all duties under time constraints. Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, staff, and vendors. Requirements

  • Valid Paralegal Certificate
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least two years of litigation experience
