About the position

We are looking for an adept Paralegal to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Paralegal, your duties will revolve around providing comprehensive support to the legal team, managing and organizing legal documents, and using the CLM system effectively. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. You will assist in the ongoing utilization and management of the Foundation's new CLM system (Agiloft), ensuring that all executed agreements are reviewed, categorized, and uploaded to the CLM system repository. Your role will also involve using CLM tools proficiently to offer analysis and insights to the Legal Team, working in collaboration with the Associate of Legal Affairs to streamline CLM processes across the Foundation. Additionally, you will prepare acknowledgment letters for contributions received by the Foundation and maintain organized tracking documents related to the Legal Team's ongoing projects. You will provide assistance and support to the Legal Team as required with additional assignments, utilizing various tools and software effectively to carry out your duties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the ongoing utilization and management of the Foundation's new CLM system (Agiloft)

  • Use 'Aderant', 'Adobe Acrobat', 'Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)', 'Case Management Software', 'CompuLaw', 'Billing Functions', 'Briefing', 'Calendar Management', 'Claim Administration', 'Communication', 'ParaLegals', 'Corporate ParaLegal' and other relevant skills effectively to carry out duties.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Aderant and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
  • Familiarity with Case Management Software
  • Knowledge of CompuLaw is essential
  • Ability to handle billing functions
  • Experience in briefing and calendar management
  • Expertise in claim administration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience in ParaLegals
  • Experience in corporate ParaLegal work
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Adaptive to changes and able to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates professionalism and maintains confidentiality
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
