As a Paramedic - Cardiac Device Specialist, you will be involved in every aspect of patient care, offering hope, compassion, and healing to patients and their families. This position is integral to our Cardiac Device Clinic, where you will collaborate with physicians and other caregivers to shape the future of cardiac care in Oklahoma. Your responsibilities will include performing in-person and remote interrogations of pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders using device company programmers. You will also be responsible for inputting data into the appropriate systems and preparing reports for physicians and the billing department. This role requires frequent or permanent assignments across the Oklahoma City metro area, and occasional travel outside the metro may be necessary, including the ability to fly in small aircraft or drive long distances to reach rural clinics as needed. In this full-time position, you will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with your home office located at Mercy Tower in Oklahoma City. You will be expected to schedule appointments, scan reports, and ensure that all patient interactions are handled with the utmost professionalism and care.
