About The Position

Emergency Medical Services that provide urgent pre-hospital care and transport to patients. Baptist Health Lexington Ambulance Service is a provider established in Lexington, Kentucky operating as an Ambulance with a focus in land transport. Description for ED Paramedic: Administers direct care to the patient of all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician's assistant, emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or a professional registered nurse. Patient Assessment in conjunction with an RN repeat assessment. Provides care to the ED patient. Accurate Documentation of care provided into EMR system. Ensures positive customer relations interactions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers direct care to patients of all age groups.
• Conducts patient assessments in conjunction with an RN.
• Provides care to the ED patient.
• Documents care provided into the EMR system.
• Ensures positive customer relations interactions.
