About the position

The Paramedic Supervisor at RWJBarnabas Health is a regionally-based MICP Supervisor responsible for overseeing and supporting Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operations in the areas served by Mobile Health. This full-time position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and leadership in the EMS field, ensuring effective service delivery and team management.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support of EMS in the areas served by Mobile Health.
• Supervise EMS operations and ensure compliance with standards and protocols.
• Lead and mentor EMS personnel, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers and community resources to enhance patient care.
• Participate in training and development programs for EMS staff.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• NJ or National Registry Paramedic and eligible for reciprocity.
• AHA Basic Life Support CPR certification.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
• Valid Driver's License in the state of residence that meets company standards.
• HAZMAT Awareness certification.
• WMD/CBRNE Awareness certification.
• ICS 100, ICS 200, and ICS 800 certifications.
• NIMS 700 certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Associates Degree in a related field.
• NEMSMA SPO certification.
