American Ghost Adventures is seeking enthusiastic and adventurous individuals to join our team as Paranormal Tour Guides for our year-round ghost tours in downtown Orlando. This part-time position requires candidates to be available for night shifts, as many of our tours occur in the evening. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the paranormal and a strong ability to engage and entertain groups of people. We are looking for individuals who can project their voice, tell captivating stories, and create an enjoyable experience for our guests. This role is perfect for those who enjoy socializing and have a flair for performance, as you will be required to interact with the public and potentially conduct media interviews. Candidates must be at least 21 years old due to the nature of our tours, which may include visits to establishments that serve alcohol. We are particularly interested in applicants who live close to downtown Orlando, as reliable transportation is essential for this role. The position is not full-time, and applicants should understand that this is a part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling. You will be expected to memorize information about the tours and be able to improvise and adapt to different situations as they arise. As part of the application process, candidates will be required to demonstrate their storytelling abilities during a telephone interview. This is an audition for the role, and we are looking for individuals who can showcase their creativity and passion for entertaining. The pay starts at $40 for a 2-hour tour, with additional earnings from merchandise commissions and tips. There is potential for a pay increase after six months, and different tours may offer varying pay rates. This position is ideal for actors and actresses seeking flexible work hours and extra income.
Responsibilities
