About The Position
The Classroom Paraprofessional position requires an AA Degree or the ability to pass the instructional aide test. The role involves working patiently with young children who have varying levels of disabilities. The paraprofessional will be responsible for instilling self-esteem and a sense of responsibility in children, demonstrating basic skills competency, and exhibiting excellent public relations and interpersonal skills. The applicant will assist staff in the instruction, supervision, and training of individuals or groups of students with a variety of special education needs.
