About the position

Elite Care, Inc. is dedicated to providing behavioral health services aimed at improving family functioning by clinically stabilizing living arrangements, promoting reunification, and preventing the need for out-of-home therapeutic interventions for youth. The services are delivered through a collaborative team approach, primarily focusing on youth within their family systems. The role of the Paraprofessional involves working closely with children and their families to defuse behavioral health crises, evaluate the nature of these crises, and implement interventions that reduce the likelihood of recurrence. This position requires a strong commitment to ensuring that families are linked to necessary psychiatric, psychological, medical, and educational resources, as well as aftercare services upon discharge. The Paraprofessional will be responsible for monitoring and documenting the progress of youth and the effectiveness of strategies outlined in their Person Centered Plans. This includes providing self-help and living skills training, as well as parenting skills training to empower families in managing their children's behavioral health issues. The role also involves direct intervention, coordination of services, and maintaining open lines of communication with all stakeholders involved in the care of the youth. The Paraprofessional will work under the supervision of a Qualified Professional and will participate in the person-centered planning process, assisting in the implementation of behavioral support plans and crisis interventions as needed.
