The Florida Gaming Control Commission (FGCC) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pari-Mutuel Operations Specialist to join its Office of Pari-Mutuel Wagering, Office of Slot Operations. This newly created position is essential for ensuring compliance with Florida's gaming statutes and regulations. The incumbent will serve as the on-site regulatory presence at slot facilities, providing oversight and support during assigned hours. The role involves receiving, verifying, and observing deliveries of slot machines and their components, as well as conducting thorough inspections using approved checklists. The specialist will be responsible for documenting all slot machine adjustments, conversions, and relocations, ensuring that all operations adhere to established guidelines. In addition to regulatory duties, the Pari-Mutuel Operations Specialist will assist with the processing of slot license applications and conduct electronic fingerprinting for applicants. This position requires effective communication with the slot operations supervisor to address any developing issues or concerns. The specialist will also be expected to establish positive working relationships with facility employees and provide exceptional customer service to both the facility and the public. The role is critical in maintaining the integrity of the gaming operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
