About the position
The Full Time Housekeeper at Park Gardens Senior Living Community plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents in a facility that offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care. This position is essential for ensuring that the community meets its high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to the overall well-being of the residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning procedures and waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy.
- Responsible for the proper use of housekeeping equipment.
- Maintain knowledge of chemicals contained within the facility.
- Report any area observed to be in poor repair to supervisor.
- Dispense soap, paper and other housekeeping supplies as directed.
- Perform work while following infection control procedures.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a long-term care facility or acute care center is preferred.
