The SHOW comes alive at MGM Resorts International, and as a Parking Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable first impression for our guests. Your warm smile and exceptional service will be the first thing guests experience as they arrive at our resort. This position is not just about parking cars; it’s about anticipating guests' needs and delivering swift and efficient assistance to set the tone for an unparalleled resort experience. You will be the face of our brand, embodying our mission to entertain the human race. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will warmly greet all arriving guests at the parking entrance, providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic service, regardless of the weather conditions. You will manage a fast-paced environment by strictly adhering to protocols and using sound judgment to regulate vehicle movement, which is essential for minimizing traffic congestion and delays. As a knowledgeable ambassador for the property, you will be well-versed in all hotel services, features, and local attractions, enabling you to provide accurate responses to guest inquiries. Addressing guest concerns promptly is a key part of your role. You will have the authority to resolve issues within your scope, but you will also need to escalate unresolved matters to the supervisor on duty for further assistance. Vigilance is crucial; you will be responsible for reporting any suspected thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for immediate investigation and resolution. Additionally, you may be asked to perform other job-related duties as requested, ensuring that you remain flexible and responsive to the needs of the team and guests alike.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all arriving guests at the parking entrance.
  • Provide courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic service despite varying weather conditions.
  • Manage the fast-paced environment by adhering to protocols and regulating vehicle movement.
  • Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for the property, well-versed in hotel services and local attractions.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor.
  • Report suspected thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Six (6) months of guest service experience.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
