About the position

The Parking Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the Central Parking & NOVACard Services Office and the Campus Parking Services Offices. This role involves responding to customer inquiries, managing service tickets, and ensuring compliance with parking and NOVACard service documentation. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and solve tickets submitted through the portal.
  • Escalate tickets as necessary to the appropriate team.
  • Monitor Live Chat and initiate chat sessions as requested.
  • Review posted questions on the NOVA Engage app and respond to inquiries as a verified user.
  • Support the Parking & NOVACard customer service phone line.
  • Process DMV lookups for unknown vehicles with citations.
  • Maintain and update operational databases for Parking & NOVACard Services.
  • Ensure compliance on all submitted Parking & NOVACard Service documentation.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in operational support
  • Experience with departmental audit for policy and procedures compliance
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience in analyzing and running reports from automated systems and producing automated reports.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience collaborating with multiple areas of a department
  • Live Chat and/or Phone Customer Service experience
  • Parking Management Software experience
  • Operation of a State Vehicle
