About the position

The Partner Business Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is a remote role focused on serving as a trusted advisor to partners such as Value Added Resellers, Distributors, and Managed Service Providers. This position is responsible for driving HPE's revenue and profitability by creating joint business plans, articulating business strategies, and tailoring solutions to meet partner needs. The role requires building executive-level relationships and coordinating HPE activities with partners to enhance market share and ensure compliance with HPE's requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and expert to partners on emerging trends in their ecosystem.
  • Create mutually beneficial plans for the future with partners.
  • Drive end-to-end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline through joint business plans.
  • Articulate HPE global and local business strategies to partners.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of partner priorities and industry trends to communicate HPE's value.
  • Build executive-level relationships with partners to grow HPE market share.
  • Coordinate HPE activities with partners, leveraging specialists as needed.
  • Drive HPE marketing strategy through partners.
  • Promote increased value to HPE for pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Lead and implement HPE strategy and programs with partners to assure financial outcomes.
  • Influence partners to increase their commitment to HPE's portfolio.
  • Monitor partner sales to help develop pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of selling experience at end-user account or partner level.
  • Experience selling to partners in a complex environment.
  • Thorough awareness of current technology trends and HPE strategy.
  • Ability to influence partners to create increased value for HPE.
  • Understanding of business and financial fundamentals to develop strategic plans with partners.
  • Thorough understanding of HPE products and their value compared to competitors.
  • Ability to build relationships with partners and internal teams.
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of financial accounting concepts.
