As an Associate Banker at the First and Broadway Branch in San Diego, you will play a pivotal role in representing our brand and culture. You will utilize the latest banking solutions and cutting-edge financial technology to assist clients in managing their finances effectively. Your primary goal will be to help customers experience our Customer Promise, which is to empower them to make the most of their money and, consequently, their lives. This will involve providing tailored education and advice to meet their unique financial needs. In this role, you will significantly contribute to the branch's success by delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for building long-lasting relationships with clients by sharing your product knowledge and solutions, as well as introducing them to our licensed bankers. Your interactions will not only enhance customer satisfaction but also foster trust and loyalty towards our services. You will be at the forefront of our customer engagement efforts, ensuring that every client feels appreciated and valued from the moment they enter the branch.

Responsibilities

  • Engages clients as they enter the branch by welcoming them and making them feel appreciated, including managing lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue and scheduling/canceling client meetings
  • Helps clients with everyday transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, reordering a debit card, setting up a direct deposit or helping update their address accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements
  • Educates clients on the usage of technology self-service options such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to complete their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want
  • Assists clients and the branch team by helping with new account openings when needed
  • Performs branch operations which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault, ATM, or others while adhering to all bank policies and procedures

Requirements

  • 6+ months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Professional, interpersonal, thorough, detailed oriented, and organized with follow-up skills
