About the position

As an Associate Banker in Branch Banking, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and contributing to the overall success of the branch. Your primary responsibility will be to engage clients as they enter the branch, ensuring they feel welcomed and appreciated. This includes managing lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue, and scheduling or canceling client meetings as necessary. You will assist clients with everyday transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and reordering debit cards, all while ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements. In addition to handling transactions, you will educate clients on utilizing technology self-service options, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs, empowering them to complete their banking needs conveniently. You will also assist with new account openings when required and perform branch operations, which may involve managing cash devices like the cash vault and ATMs, adhering strictly to bank policies and procedures. Your role will not only focus on transactions but also on building long-lasting relationships with clients by sharing product knowledge and solutions, and introducing them to licensed bankers. This position is integral to helping clients experience our Customer Promise, which is centered around helping them make the most of their money and lives through tailored education and advice.

Responsibilities

  • Engages clients as they enter the branch by welcoming them and making them feel appreciated, including managing lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue and scheduling/canceling client meetings.
  • Helps clients with everyday transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, reordering a debit card, setting up a direct deposit or helping update their address accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements.
  • Educates clients on the usage of technology self-service options such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to complete their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
  • Assists clients and the branch team by helping with new account openings when needed.
  • Performs branch operations which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault, ATM, or others while adhering to all bank policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
