About the position

The Associate Banker position at Harrison Point Branch in Cary, NC, is a part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and building lasting relationships with clients. The role involves engaging with customers, managing branch operations, and providing education on banking products and technology. The Associate Banker will represent the brand and culture of the bank, ensuring clients feel welcomed and valued while helping them achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Engages clients as they enter the branch by welcoming them and making them feel appreciated, including managing lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue, and scheduling/canceling client meetings.
  • Performs branch operations which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault, ATM, or others while adhering to all bank policies and procedures and performing account origination for consumer clients.
  • Provides proactive client outreach to gauge success and offer new tools to help them meet their consumer banking and investment goals.
  • Champions new Associate Banker skills such as tablet utilization, account opening, and other key initiatives, helping Associate Bankers as they learn.
  • Educates clients on the usage of technology self-service options such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to complete their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
  • Shares best practices across the supported branches to deliver a strong controls environment and exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • 6 months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to make personal connections, engage customers, and remain courteous and professional in a team environment while quickly and accurately learning products, services, and procedures.
  • Professional, interpersonal, thorough, detailed oriented, and organized with follow-up skills.
  • Strong desire and ability to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology.
  • Cash handling experience.
