About the position

As an Associate Banker in Branch Banking, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and building long-lasting relationships with clients. Your primary focus will be to help customers navigate their banking needs through education and tailored advice, while representing the brand's commitment to customer service and inclusivity. You will engage with clients, assist with transactions, and promote the use of technology to enhance their banking experience.

Responsibilities

  • Engages clients as they enter the branch by welcoming them and making them feel appreciated, including managing lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue and scheduling/canceling client meetings.
  • Helps clients with everyday transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, reordering a debit card, setting up a direct deposit or helping update their address accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements.
  • Educates clients on the usage of technology self-service options such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to complete their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
  • Assists clients and the branch team by helping with new account openings when needed.
  • Performs branch operations which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault, ATM, or others while adhering to all bank policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Reading and Speaking in both Spanish and English fluently is required for the role.

  • Ability to make personal connections, engage customers, and remain courteous and professional in a team environment while quickly and accurately learn products, services, and procedures.
  • Professional, interpersonal, thorough, detailed oriented, and organized with follow-up skills.
  • Strong desire and ability to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology.
  • Cash handling experience.
