About the position

The Part-Time Accounting Data Entry Specialist is a hybrid role focused on vendor maintenance and accounts payable processes. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. The role offers flexibility in work hours, with a preference for morning shifts, and involves both in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with vendors via email to request forms and track submissions.
  • Set up vendors in Oracle and manage updates, including banking information changes.
  • Follow up on incomplete paperwork to ensure vendor information accuracy.
  • Assist with vendor payments, including switching payment methods or updating banking information.
  • Cross-train to assist with invoice approval through the Esker system during slower periods.
  • Collaborate with the team to push invoices through, especially during month-end deadlines.

Requirements

  • Experience with Accounts Payable and vendor management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (sorting, filtering, tracking) and Teams.
  • Familiarity with Adobe and experience working with a ticketing system.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with larger ERP systems and a ticketing system is a plus.
