About the position

The Accounts Payable/Data Entry Clerk position is a part-time role focused on managing full cycle accounts payable functions. This includes processing invoices, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining vendor records. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle a high volume of invoices efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounts payable functions including receiving bills and confirming accuracy.
  • Enter payables into the system (SAP) and process payments.
  • Handle full cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, payment processing, and check cutting.
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Process 3-way match to ensure correct information before processing payment.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice discrepancies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in accounts payable and data entry.
  • Experience with 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
  • Proficiency in using SAP or similar accounting software.
  • Ability to process 50-100 invoices per day efficiently.
