About the position
The JCC MetroWest is seeking Part-Time (Afternoon) Assistant Preschool Teachers to join their preschool teaching team. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Support children's learning and development through engaging and nurturing interactions.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and co-workers to foster a positive learning environment.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in early childhood education required.
- Ability to understand developmental milestones and apply child-centered best practices.
- Strong communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Nurturing, patient, reliable, and joyful demeanor.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Child Development Associate Certification preferred.
