About the position

The Line Service Technician (LST) is a customer service role focused on providing safe and efficient services for general aviation aircraft, crews, and passengers. The LST operates ground service equipment and ensures excellent service delivery while adhering to company policies and safety protocols. This position requires teamwork, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for customers and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Operate ground service equipment to provide requested services for aircraft, crews, and passengers.
  • Collaborate with coworkers, customers, and vendors to meet service needs and ensure efficient communication.
  • Service aircraft as requested, including fueling, de-icing, lavatory, and catering services.
  • Drive shuttle vehicles with passengers and cargo, ensuring safe transport.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations.
  • Load and unload luggage and cargo into/out of aircraft and FBO.
  • Conduct fuel handling, including quality control and documentation.
  • Provide professional customer service with a positive attitude.
  • Comply with operational, safety, and security protocols.
  • Create accurate records of time worked and services performed.
  • Recommend improvements to operational standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Valid state driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
  • Ability to complete training programs successfully.
  • Ability to pass a color vision test for fuel inspection.
  • Proficient in using a computer and email.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Three to six months of experience in aviation or customer service.
