About the position

The Line Service Technician (LST) is a customer service role focused on providing essential services for general aviation aircraft, crews, and passengers. The LST operates ground service equipment and adheres to company policies to ensure efficient and safe service delivery. This position requires teamwork, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for customers and guests at the fixed base operation (FBO).

Responsibilities

• Operate ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, and tugs.
• Service aircraft as requested, including fueling, de-icing, and lavatory services.
• Collaborate with coworkers, customers, and vendors to meet service needs.
• Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations.
• Drive shuttle vehicles with passengers and cargo.
• Load and unload luggage and cargo into/out of aircraft.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service at all times.
• Create accurate records of time worked and services performed.
• Understand and enforce operational, safety, and customer service requirements.
• Recommend improvements to operational standards and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid state driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Ability to complete Signature's training programs.
• Ability to pass a color vision test for inspecting aviation fuel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic operations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Nice-to-haves
