In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and directing incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway, ensuring they enter or leave their gates safely and on time. You will also handle passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials, which may weigh up to 75 lbs. Operating ground equipment such as tugs and belt loaders will be part of your daily tasks, as well as collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely departures. You will have the opportunity to create a positive experience for passengers by greeting them and assisting with check-in and ticketing processes. Your responsibilities will also include using reservation and ticketing software to manage itineraries, issuing boarding passes, and communicating important information to passengers. You will be expected to resolve any issues that arise during the travel experience in a friendly and efficient manner. This position may also involve working in the Baggage Service Office to track baggage and address passenger inquiries. Responsibilities

  • Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway to ensure safe and timely gate operations.
  • Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo/freight, and company materials, some weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Drive ground equipment such as tugs and belt loaders to assist with aircraft operations.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure safe and on-time departures.
  • Clean the interior of the aircraft and service aircraft lavatories as needed.
  • Greet passengers and provide a seamless check-in and ticketing experience.
  • Use reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes.
  • Communicate important information to passengers regarding their trips and belongings.
  • Process passenger information accurately to ensure timely flight departures.
  • Resolve passenger issues in a friendly manner in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18 years old.
  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.
  • Possess a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver's license.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including days, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours with short notice when necessary.
  • Must be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Willingness to work outside in variable weather conditions.
  • Enjoy working under deadlines and in a physical job outdoors.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, politely, and in a friendly manner.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
