About the position

StructSolve Engineering is seeking a talented and detail-oriented architect to assist in the design of residential retaining walls. The successful candidate will work part-time and collaborate closely with our engineering team to create accurate and high-quality drawings using AutoCAD or Revit. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering precise architectural designs for structural projects. The position offers flexibility in working hours depending on project needs, and it provides the potential for growth and additional responsibilities within the company. The role can be performed remotely or in-person based on the candidate's location and preference.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design retaining walls and related structures.
• Produce detailed and accurate AutoCAD or Revit drawings for retaining wall designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and best practices in all designs.
• Review and modify designs based on feedback from the team and project requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of architectural plans, sections, and elevations as needed.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience in architectural design, with a focus on structural or civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Knowledge of retaining wall design and structural principles is a plus.
