Young Rembrandts is actively hiring part-time Art Teachers for schools in the Jefferson Park area, including Sauganash, Mayfair, Niles, Skokie, Park Ridge, and Norwood Park. This position is ideal for individuals who love art and enjoy working with children. The role is designed for those seeking a minimal part-time job that fits an afternoon schedule, with no holiday work required. As a part-time Art Teacher, you will conduct 2-4 classes a week, with each class lasting one hour. The sessions are pre-scheduled for the entire school year and take place immediately after school hours. Young Rembrandts provides comprehensive training, ongoing support, an amazing curriculum, and all necessary supplies to ensure a successful teaching experience. While no formal art or teaching degree is required, candidates must possess flexibility and a passion for coaching children through the fundamentals of drawing. Reliable transportation is essential, as you will be required to drive to various schools in your area. Classroom experience is a significant advantage for applicants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 2-4 art classes per week, each lasting one hour.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field (Required).
• 1 year of teaching experience (Required).
• CPR Certification (Preferred).
• Teaching Certification (Preferred).
• Experience in a classroom environment is a huge plus.
• Reliable transportation to travel to various schools.
