About the position

The Part-Time Assistant Property Manager will support the management of three apartment buildings in the Georgian Acres neighborhood of Austin, totaling 72 units. This role involves various tenant-facing tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and providing high-quality customer service. The position offers growth potential into a Lead Property Manager role based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with various tenant and prospect-facing tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Answer tenant calls for work orders and accurately fill out work order forms.
  • Take calls from prospective tenants and complete new prospect forms.
  • Post Notice to Vacate documents and ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Meet with tenants to facilitate lease signings and communicate lease renewals.
  • Coordinate property tours for prospective tenants and answer questions.
  • Manage and streamline move-in procedures to create a positive experience.

Requirements

  • Bilingual: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Prior property management or leasing agent experience required.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel between properties.
  • Proficient with technology; familiarity with property management software is a bonus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience providing high-quality customer service and addressing tenant needs.
  • Ability to handle issues proactively and think on your feet.
  • Ensures accuracy in documentation and lease management.
