About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support the lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for the students, requiring a strong understanding of childhood development and effective behavior management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
• Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and addressing any behavioral issues.
• Provide individualized attention to students, ensuring their unique learning needs are met.
• Engage with students during activities, fostering a love for learning and exploration.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom events.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
• Ability to provide toddler care when necessary, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a preschool setting is a plus.
