About the position

As an Associate Banker in Branch Banking, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and contributing to the overall success of the branch. Your primary responsibility will be to engage clients as they enter the branch, ensuring they feel welcomed and appreciated. This includes managing lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue, and scheduling or canceling client meetings. You will assist clients with everyday transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and updating their personal information, all while adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements. In addition to handling transactions, you will educate clients on utilizing technology self-service options, including the Chase Mobile App and ATMs, to enhance their banking experience. You will also assist with new account openings and perform various branch operations, which may involve managing cash devices like the cash vault and ATMs. Your role is pivotal in helping clients make the most of their money and ensuring they receive tailored advice to suit their financial needs. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients. You will represent the brand and culture of Chase, embodying the values of diversity and inclusion while exceeding customer expectations. Your contributions will help clients navigate their financial journeys effectively, making a significant impact on their lives.

Responsibilities

  • Engages clients as they enter the branch by welcoming them and making them feel appreciated, including managing lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue and scheduling/canceling client meetings
  • Helps clients with everyday transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, reordering a debit card, setting up a direct deposit or helping update their address accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements
  • Educates clients on the usage of technology self-service options such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to complete their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want
  • Assists clients and the branch team by helping with new account openings when needed
  • Performs branch operations which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault, ATM, or others while adhering to all bank policies and procedures

Requirements

  • 6+ months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Reading and Speaking in both Spanish and English fluently is required for this role
