About the position
The Part-time Associate Dentist at Benevis will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to underserved families, primarily focusing on children aged 3-21. This position is designed for a compassionate individual who is eager to contribute to the community and help create memorable experiences for patients. Responsibilities
- Provide dental services to patients with the support of a dental team.
- Utilize DentaPro software and digital x-ray and Panorex units.
- Participate in yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training.
- Manage an average of 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients per day.
- Engage with a patient base that is primarily children, while also serving adults.
Requirements
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the relevant states or eligibility for licensure.
- Certifications such as CPR and DEA as required.
- Nitrous Oxide certification (only for specific states).
- Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with children in a dental setting.
- Familiarity with state insurance plans and PPOs.
